City Breathing is a personal photo documentary project about Athens, a hybernating city coming out of a 42 day long strict lockdown on the 4th of May 2020.
Documenting people and their attempt at the new norm. Using a telephoto lens means I get to keep my distances while trying to be as discreet as possible. A 5am start meant I got to see the city centre in Syntagma Square completely empty, gradually filling with life.
